Have you signed up for Saving Star yet? Saving Star is a clip free coupon program that lets you save money while shopping at grocery stores and drugstores. You can enter your zipcode here to see what stores in your area participate.
I can tell you that I live in an area that normally has few places participating in e-coupons. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that our local grocery store (Food Lion) and our local drugstore (CVS) are participating! Yay!
How does it work?
:: Sign up here and register your store loyalty cards.
:: Click the coupons you want to add to your account.
:: Shop! When you purchase an item that your account has a coupon for, that coupon amount is added to your Savings Star account. Your bill at the store remains the same but the e-coupon amount is placed in your Savings Star account. Once you get to $5 in savings, you can pick your payout. Choose from paypal, amazon gift card and more!
I’m really excited about this and think it should really help to save even more money with the things we buy anyway.

Sounds pretty cool
yep! Can you believe Food Lion is participating? What are you going to redeem your savings for?
I’ve been using these some and already have $6.50 in my account! Not sure what I’m going to do with it yet. I think there was an option to have it go to your bank account. I might wait till there’s a bit more and do that.

There is a bank account option I guess I’m just always leary of giving that out. But that’s probably just me. Good to know you have already saved $6.50! I will probably save mine for Amazon and combine with my Swagbucks for Christmas
This is new for me- can you tell me, are we able to use paper coupons with these items in one transaction? Thanks
Saving Star is new to me as well. As far as I know you should be able to use an actual paper coupon to reduce your bill at the register. If I hear otherwise, I will be sure to post.
