I promised I would post this recipe back when I posted the recipe for Oreo Truffles. I would have posted this sooner but…..when I made the cookies I left for a few minutes and came back to take pictures and my family had eaten them all! So, here is round 2 on the cookies. This is super easy and really yummy.
Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cup Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (I used pre-made but you can make your own to reduce the cost)
- Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups
- Cooking Spray
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 and spray mini muffin pan with cooking spray.
Step 2
Roll cookie dough into small balls and place in muffin pan. Bake 10 minutes
Step 3
While cookies are baking, remove paper from peanut butter cups
Step 4
Take cookies out of oven and immediately put peanut butter cups in the cookie. You will want to push the peanut butter cup down far enough so that is level with the cookie. BUT do not push too far down or it will go through the cookie.
Step 5
Let cookies cool completely before taking out of muffin pan. This step is VERY important. Otherwise, you will have a big gooey mess!
